Context
The order management module sat in a clinically sensitive part of the product. It needed to support multiple specialties, different external systems, and the kind of workflow detail that can easily become brittle over time.
What I focused on
- Designing a more maintainable module structure
- Supporting modern REST-based integration with external systems
- Making workflow expansion easier for future specialties and requirements
Why it mattered
This was not just a UI refresh. The value was in making the module easier to evolve while preserving interoperability and clinical usefulness.
